Dr. Tam Nguyen is a board certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Dave Cho is a general dentist who sees the whole family. They met at dental school in Boston and practice in one building in Katy.

Dr. Nguyen is proud to call Houston her home. She was born and raised in southwest Houston, where she attended DeBakey High School for Health Professions and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She obtained her dental degree from Boston University in Boston, MA where she also met her husband, William.
The rest of her story
After practicing in Massachusetts, they decided to move back to her hometown of Houston, Texas. Following several years of work as a general dentist in Richmond, Dr. Nguyen realized her passion was to work with kids and she decided to go back to school to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Nguyen returned to Boston University to serve her pediatric residency and earn a specialty degree. During the residency program, Dr. Nguyen gained insight and knowledge about treating children as young as 6 months old as well as patients with special needs. We provide treatment in a fun, gentle, and relaxing environment and believe in the importance of working together to provide the best treatment for your child.

Dr. Cho met Dr. Nguyen at dental school in Boston. He practices in the family side of the building, and parents who mention him in their reviews of the children’s practice are describing a visit where the whole family was seen at once.

Dr. Cho enjoys seeing patients of all ages and his favorite part about dentistry is forming lifelong relationships with his patients. His laid back attitude and calm demeanor immediately puts patients at ease. He is experienced in oral sedation, endodontics, oral surgery, implant placement, and cosmetic dentistry. He strives to provide quality dentistry by attending several continuing education courses each year.
How he got here
Dr. Cho grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California, Riverside where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He considered dentistry while in college, but was offered an opportunity at a pharmaceutical company where he worked for five years. Dentistry was always in the back of his mind and he decided to pursue a career change. This led him to Boston where he obtained his dental degree from Tufts University, and also where he met Dr. Nguyen, moved to Houston to be closer to family, and the rest is history!
Dr. Cho lives in Houston with his wife, Ellie, and their puppy, Mimi. They are first time parents to their newborn daughter, Claudia, and he is a proud #girldad!

My 3 year old daughter recently saw Dr. Nguyen and I was so concerned my daughter would not do well. I was wrong!! Dr. Nguyen was so kind, calm, and patient that my daughter was put at ease. Dr. Nguyen explained what she would be doing beforehand and my daughter enjoyed her appointment so much that has been asking to go to the dentist. Thank you Dr. Nguyen!
Tiffany was a dream with my 5 year old son! She was a natural with my son and he was so good with her. She has a great personality and makes the experience more of a fun time rather than am actual appointment! Dr Cho the main Dr was soooo good with my son engaged and made him feel safe as they both did I wouldn’t take my son anywhere else. Thank you for amazing customer service and bed side mannor.. you help make a scary experience really fun for kids thanks for that!!
