Photographs of your child’s teeth, and anything else that will help: a treatment plan from another practice, or a radiograph if you have one.

To arrange the online appointment, or to tell you straight away that this is one to bring in.
It is an opinion, not a diagnosis.
Anything that needs looking at properly still needs looking at properly. What this saves is the trip that turns out not to have been necessary.

A second opinion
On a treatment plan your child has been given somewhere else. The practice also offers a free second opinion in person.
Is this urgent?
A chip, a mark on a tooth, or a gum that looks wrong, where the real question is whether it can wait until the next visit.
Is my child a candidate?
For Invisalign in particular, where the honest answer often needs the mouth in front of us, but the first pass can be done from photographs.
One exception
If your child is in pain, or a tooth has been knocked out, do not use this. Call the office.
